With meat birds it's highly recommended that you remove their food in the late afternoon and then put it back in the brooder in the morning, but I think that's only after like 3 or 4 weeks.
It's NOT a concern with BO's though. Keep food in front of them 24/7.
Hi Everybody... I went out and told honey we need to stop by Tractor Supply to see if they had any chicks and I wanted to get 4 more... as I was saying please let them have some, he was saying please dont let them have any
But they did... LOTS! They all where so cute and I picked 6, they Tractor Supply guy said theres a law in Kentucky that says you have to buy 6?
But that was fine with me
so I picked 3 RIR's and 3 from the assorted bantam container (they are so little and cute) I tried to get good pics. of them but its hard.

I got to find a bigger container for them
We had to move our chicks to a bigger box tonight, they where running out of room already! Tomorrow they will be a week old. We really need to get the coop built... hurry up weekend!
