What's a dander
Dander is dead skin flakes. But chicks produce a lot of dust, of which dander is only a part.

Poultry dust is a combination of many other materials, including:

feathers, litter, bird droppings, feed, dust mites, bacteria, and fungi
. (From Google's AI).

All of this dust can be harmful for you to breathe. Your chicks will soon be far too big to be comfortable in that little cage. I hope you are building them something bigger that will also keep them safe from predators. Plan on something that gives them at least 4 square feet of space per bird and enables you to comfortably clean it on a regular basis.

The bottom of that cage is not comfortable for their feet. That might be why they are complaining. Can you put newspapers in the cage to give them something solid to stand on? But newspaper is slick and can cause problems with their legs so it's best if you can cover it with some kind of wood shavings, preferably pine (not cedar, it's toxic to them).

Im thinking of that, but I can't find a big cage or coop
Okay, so then what's your plan for them? They cannot stay in that sort of confinement and remain healthy.

Agreed. Wire is not a suitable surface for chickens to stand on it all day and night.
A sheet of cardboard would also work in a pinch to protect their feet from the wire, but it would need to be replaced regularly.
