I have 2 chicks approx 4 weeks old and we have just put them outside in the coop 2 days ago. At twilight they chirp loud and constantly! Today we finished the run so as they are going nuts pacing back and forth staring at me I decide to go in and talk to them. I crouched down and they actually jumped in my lap and on my shoulder just squawking away at me. I put them to bed in their coop thinking maybe thats what they wanted even tho i know they can get up the ramp themselves. This is abnormal for them. They aren't fond of being handled yet. Any reason they are doing this?
