My ducks are laying eggs, but I cant find them...

Do you have any recommendations for a good incubator?

I love the Incuview, from Incubator Warehouse. Best all-round incubator for your money on the market. Has all the features of the more expensive brands at a fraction of the cost, and a lot more reliable than styrofoam models.

No wonder they aren't laying inside they need some bedding,lol
straw shaving etc. Just not cedar. They have to have something to lay in. So they can hide their eggs from predators which are us. lol

My ducks don't have any straw to bury their eggs in. I've tried searching the grass, and the base of the trees. I even tried looking under my porch and along my fence. There is one egg buried in the back of my yard. Its tucked under some weeds. I'm not sure its fertile, but it stays warm from the sun, and I've been keeping an eye on it. I watched my duck lay it three or so days ago.

They need some sort of bedding in the house if you want them to lay eggs in there. And an egg sitting outside is not going to spontaneously develop. It must be kept at a near constant 99.5 for healthy, normal development to occur. A few hours a day in the sunshine will not do the job.

TSC carries them and most feed store probably. I buy horse bedding it comes thicker and seems to last longer.
