Footing/foundation for the coop poured today. It is not my best work, hope the chickens are okay with it!

Good idea, filling it with concrete?I rented a Ditch Witch from Home Depot to install irrigation in our front yard and took the time to carve a 12" trench for the foundation for the coop/run. I hope it keeps out the diggers!View attachment 1153630

We are having our log cabin fixed up while i am trying to finish putting siding on my coop and gardening. Might as well get the mess over all at once!12" deep below grade, @ 16" of concrete to the base of the coop walls.
I guess I'm lucky/insane building the coop in the middle of a full remodel!
