So cute! And such cute chickens you have!! Welcome!
Can you start a thread talking just about this? People will give you help quicker that way. If you have a TSC they have corrid there.I am pretty sure that one of my new chickens has coccidiosis. I spotted some bloody stool. I looked at Corid on Amazon, and the only one I can find states for calves. Is this relevant? Does anyone have any links for the products they use??
Do you have photos of the poop?I am pretty sure that one of my new chickens has coccidiosis. I spotted some bloody stool. I looked at Corid on Amazon, and the only one I can find states for calves. Is this relevant? Does anyone have any links for the products they use??
If I see it more, I will post a picture. It was really red, and I found the actual droppings laced with red. I am not sure which chicken it is. It isn't going to be here until the 14th. I will cancel it, and the pick it up at TSC.Do you have photos of the poop?
Yes, the one for calves is correct. You can also find it at stores like TSC in the cattle section.
Liquid Corid dose is 2tsp or Powdered Corid Dose is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
Do not add any extra vitamins/electrolytes that contain B1(Thiamine) to food or water during the course of treatment.
