My GIRL duck has GREEN feathers!!!

Okay, I have a duckling that is making a girl noise, but has green feathers towards her tail. I think she is a Ancona, if that helps. She is around 6 weeks old.

Caboodles, a picture would help. Girls can have a slight green tint.

This was my Mallard Pekin girl at sixish weeks, can you see the tint?


Here she was at about three months.

Ok. I wouldn't worry about them on the wings, just something all black ducks get.

Again here is my Mallard Pekin hen and you can see clearly she has green feathers just about everywhere.

Lol. They are addictive, I started with ten. Now I'm at 35 and there are 21 eggs due next week. I might have a slight problem......
