I have a hen that has no feet!(butterfly) The only thing I can think of is that last winter it got so cold and she had mud on her feet, and then they got frost bit. They just fell off. She's learned how to get around, but I would like to find something more for her to get her off the ground.

Well, I've seen stainless steel implants for parrots who have had their feet chewed off. This is expensive and the patient can never return to barnyard life. So I guess your option is to make her living space handicap accessible. Think out side the box and create ramps for your hen to use. The ramps will need a surface that provides traction. She will need her own roosting area that is easy for her to balance and rest her nubs on. You might have to pad her roosting area to prevent pressure sores. These types of changes can be difficult to keep clean and may have to be replaced.

Good luck with her. I've seen nubbies do well and live a long life.

This Is the best one I have

I think its the lighting on the picture, but did notice that the bottoms are starting to look a little raw
