Congratulations. Beautiful birds. I notice you're losing bedding through the door, if you set a 1 x 6 across the opening, it should keep the bedding in.

Yeah I'm gonna add something in there. It was just fine until Sylvia decided she wanted to kick all the shavings OUT!

It doesn't really count, haha. Gladys probably had it brewing yesterday but didn't lay it until today. I know I probably won't get more for a while until they settle in.

So we did have an adventure today. I just spent 3 hours putting up bird netting over the run since I found naughty Miss Tillie...


That fence is 8ft tall! I'm assuming she flew onto the tarp and then up there. Thankfully she is the most docile girl and enjoys being held and petted, so I threw a ladder up there and grabbed her no problem. Then we had fun putting up the bird netting. I am worried this fall that falling leaves will bring it down. Hopefully I can keep it knocked off enough, but that's the reason we didn't have a "roof" in the first place! My friend is shocked, apparently none of them have flown that much before, haha.
