New Silkie babies born yesterday and today...still more hatching! This was the best hatch rate I have ever had from mailed eggs...Thanks to BYCer Marie...20 went into the bator and only waiting on 6 more to hatch. All chicks were very vigorous and are already eating and drinking....Billy Idol is the only non-silkie...he is my midget Bantam Americana..he is a week old and the same size as the new babies..

Oh wow, those are cute chicks! I keep telling my husband I won't get any more chickens this year...and yet here I am looking at chicks! I should just show him these chick pictures :)
