Beeeee-eautious!!!!! The colors gave me the warm fuzzies; then I saw they were the IDENTICAL colors I used to paint my kitchen in my old house. Great choice!
I used an old garden shed for my coop. I put a big piece of linoleum over the wood floor. Then I put shower curtains over that, with straw on top. About once a week, I just take out the shower curtains, dump the straw in the compost pile, and hose off the curtain. (I have 2 Cornish X's that sleep on the floor and have massive poops, otherwise I probably wouldn't have to clean as frequently). In the winter when the poop is kind of frozen, I don't even need to hose off the curtains, everything just kind of pops off.
