So it turned out I had nothing I could put these all in, even though I swore I had a larger enclosure in the shed, and couldn’t bring myself to separate flock members. So here’s my bizarre little aviary.

Jeremy and Dolly inherited Scrappy and Lulu’s old cage, as Jeremy is too rough to live with the more docile birds.

So turns out Canary is a boy, just a late developer... He just crowed. 😆 Thought something was fishy about his looks and chonkiness tbh, and his voice was like Scrappy’s unlike the pied’s odd noises, but I wished him to be a hen as he is beautiful pear.

Oddly enough, even with a hen (speckled breast) around, the two boys are getting along, I thought he was a hen as Scrappy didn’t care about his existence and the both of them like to hang out together, often leaving poor pied hen (still thinking for a name for her) all on her lonesome, maybe Canary has taken Scrappy as a mentor? :hmm
