It probably had something to do with the person in charge of hatching, maybe he had the humidity way tooo HI. [IMG]

Maybe the guy in charge just hatched daring little swimmers that like to eat Guinea Fowl.

If there can be "quail finches" there can be "quail ducks".. [IMG]

Throw some Zesty Italian and let them marinate themselves! [IMG]

Ha ha... sorry to be a party pooper, but if they get cold they will likely not survive. Do you have marbles or clean rocks to put in the waterer so they can't submerge themselves?

Drumstick is sleeping dreaming about Quail. (He's my kid [IMG] )
We had the rocks ready but the water is 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep
and the brooder is 90 to 95 on the light side so I wasn't too
worried about them. It was just so cute and Drumstick was
    excited about it. [IMG]

I've had bantams do that before. You gotta watch out they don't get chilled or drown. Are you guys using a quail waterer, or just a normal chick waterer?
