My rooster’s face is covered in tumors

If you saw mosquito larva recently, you may assume this is pox. If you see any of the lesions weeping and crusting, it's pox.

Keep the one with active lesions away from the others since it's contagious and contact with the weeping lesions spreads it. Pox has to run its course, a few weeks, but you can paint the lesions with iodine or Blu-kote to help dry them out and prevent bacterial infection.
 
Do any other birds have lesions or scabs? I initially thought of fowl pox, because of the comb lesions, but I have never seen lesions that large on grown chickens. I still lean towards it being cancer, but hopefully not. Time will tell. Please let us know if others get scabs, and if this one recovers. Good luck.
