In response to this letter I would make a sign that says...

"Honk really really loud if you like my yard decorations!"

I have to agree that being offended by a fake butt made from pumpkins is a bit beyond what I would expect of most people. If I am walking through a department store with my kids and they are changing the clothes on the mannequins, I don't think most people would turn their kids around and walk the other way just to avoid seeing that, and that is much more real life-like than a pumpkin butt, lol.

Some people have such a big ego that they think they are lord of the universe. This person went out of their way to drive down a street they never drive down to look down their nose at your humorous display with disgust and superior judgement. And then take it a step further to write that letter to put you down. What an ass! Have fun, enjoy life, make a dozen more and line the street!

Well, I can see how someone might consider it sophomoric humor, although calling it "depraved"is going a bit too far.

I get offended by people shoving their religious convictions in my face, but I'd never send anyone a nasty letter about it.
