Myshire Farm SSC Hatch 🐣

Hi Peeps!

this is our first group of hatching eggs from Myshire Farm (whom we ADORE), and these are SSCs! *Silver Collection*

So far, we are looking REALLY good, and I’m so excited to see these babes POP!
I thought it might be fun to share some progress pics of the hatch here with you! They went in lockdown yesterday on day 15, we are seeing pips, and we should have some beautiful Silver Babes emerging soon!

Specs: This is our second quail incubation hatch. The first came with a lot of setbacks, so we are still finding what works best for us. This time around we did a nearly dry incubation (humidity was 30-35% consistently, at 99.5 F. At lockdown we bumped up to 60% humidity, and since today we have pipping, I’m aiming to keep the humidity between 60-65%.

How exciting! Good luck with your hatch. I hatched my 2nd generation of quail a few months back, but I do not know the names of the colors of the first generation.

Hi and welcome to BYC!!!! I’ve been hatching myshire quail for nearly 2 years now and have most of his colors!! They are awesome!!!! Congratulations on your new babies!!!!
