The cochin males I have had were very docile. I had a lot of big girls back then and they never caused a fuss. The big gals kept them in line.

if keeping the Dominique I would try to keep the cochin too but have a back up plan.

The more I hang out with them and they get their own personalities, the more I’m determined to keep the Cochin and Dominique. They never have issues. The only one causing problems is the Barred Rock. But oddly enough, he’s calming down. He doesn’t come after us anymore. He definitely doesn’t come near us, but he doesn’t actively come after us and try to bite us. As much as I hate to admit, I think he has more control of the flock at this point than the Dominique or Cochin. The Cochin just wants to lay down and be left alone haha
