Yeah that does sound right!They look a lot like Lark Sparrow eggs to me. I did a little more research and it says they breed in open habitats, where grass joins scattered trees and shrubs, which sounds like it might fit the habitat where you found them, says they like fields. Beautiful little eggs!
from all the research I tried to do there were just so many eggs that look similar and I have no experience with wild eggs at all. So all these suggestions are helpful! Thanks all
