Mystery tiny eggs found in field, what are they?

They look a lot like Lark Sparrow eggs to me. I did a little more research and it says they breed in open habitats, where grass joins scattered trees and shrubs, which sounds like it might fit the habitat where you found them, says they like fields. Beautiful little eggs!
Yeah that does sound right!
from all the research I tried to do there were just so many eggs that look similar and I have no experience with wild eggs at all. So all these suggestions are helpful! Thanks all :)

Ok, found 4 feet up in Johnson grass, barely attached in a small branch of the grass, as we were weed eating the garden by an alfalfa field, in desert southwest, in new mexico, saw them fall to the ground as the grass got weed eated, (ate?)
the grass was about 6 or 7 feet tall and in big thick patches, between garden rows. Sadly the little eggs cracked, I waxed the cracks on one that wasn't too damaged because the other that cracked open was already about half way there. So stuck it in my incubator to see what would happen, I don't think it has much hope, but I'm still very curious as to what they could be. (I know it's not killdeer which is what everyone suggested around in real life)
And they were only the size of my finger nail! Dove maybe? Sparrows of some kind? Wild finch?
Here's some pics

Killdeer nest right on the ground, so definitely not that. I’m betting some sort of finch or swallow?
What will you do if you get a hatch? Are you prepared to feed hatchlings or will you take them to a sanctuary or something?

The pictures of the Lark Sparrow eggs had the same coloration and painted/marbled look of the ones you found.

Yeah, willing to hand feed, I will have to go collect bugs I guess, and wow just looked it up definitely a lark sparrow, you guys are fast ! Thanks so much, now I can research more about them just in case it hatches. About what to feed it etc.
When I get brave enough to candle again, I will post an update. Or if I never do candle and it hatches or not I will post that too.

Too bad lark sparrows are under the migratory bird act, so just don’t brag you illegally hatched a bird.
Thanks for the heads up! I will only brag to my family then ;)

I got so excited finding out what it was I just went and candled, it's still alive, Its little heart beating away! I hope it makes it!
I probably won't candle it again since it's so very delicate.
And because incubation is only 11 to 12 days it could hatch in 4 to 6 days
