Here is my white girl. Man, I had no idea these birds got so big! She is only 11 weeks old. Took the pictures today.



The one in the back is what I call a non NN. She is only a few day younger than the
white one. She was from a different NN hatch, but I wanted to keep her, the eggs were
huge in that batch also.

I love her cap. And her bow tie. )

Love the white naked neck.Back several years ago I bred a white naked neck aseel/oriental.They were sharp.

Can anyone tell me how NN are cold hardy? I have heard it time and time again, but it doesn't make logical sense to me.
Surprisingly my NN are laying really well while all the others are slowing down.

Does the fact that they have up to 2/3 less feathers make you think that they are not cold hardy ? All of mine tolerate cold very well. They are warm, including their feet when I handle them.

Cynthia12 Do you have a NN cockerel ? The large fowl variety rooster NN looks to be twice the size of the hen ! So don't be surprised when you see a NN rooster next to a NN hen ! But I have found the males to be gentle after they get through the testosterone storm.

if you're asking if it's a sex linked mating, answer is no... because all of the chicks of both sexes will be barred.   For sex linked mating using barring, it has to be non-barred roo with barred hens.

But if you just wanted barred hens, the answer would be a happy yes.
