The comb shape in relation to the color of the eggs is only for those that potentially carry colored egg laying gene. If they potentially can carry it (have it in there line from EE, ameracauna, arucana, or other colored egg laying parentage) and have a pea comb they generally will have inherited the colored egg gene too, since they USUALLY are inherited together.What does the comb have to do w/the color of their eggs?? Thank you all I only wish that his wings had not been clipped, does not appear to have been done correctly either. Will they grow back, my husband says they will but that is an assumption on his part and I am clueless. I am relieved to know he will do fine in our heat. He is a very beautiful bird. My girls are lucky.
