It may take several times, soak each time, 20 minutes or what she will tolerate, to help soften it. The ointment may help soften it also.

This is what it looks like today. Had a long soak and debrided as best I could. The ointment seems to be helping. It may take several times, soak each time, 20 minutes or what she will tolerate, to help soften it. The ointment may help soften it also.
Ditto Dat!^^^Keep up the good work.
Yes she is pooping much more solid. Stinks to high heaven but it comes out much easier. She kind of bears down a little when she does it and makes a little chirp, which isn’t normal for her, but it’s coming out.Ditto Dat!^^^
Oh. that looks much better...can almost see what's what.
Has she pooped a solid one yet?
That's good!Yes she is pooping much more solid. Stinks to high heaven but it comes out much easier. She kind of bears down a little when she does it and makes a little chirp, which isn’t normal for her, but it’s coming out.
Okay so update. One pic is before soak, then I soaked her really well and sprayed out some of the poop that hangs out after she goes. It started bleeding a bit and there’s almost like a little cherry that was the bleeder. Prolapse? But we’re defjnitely seeing less black and more pink tissue as we go.That's good!
It almost looked like a hunk of poop stuck in vent in the previous pics...
...like problem was a fecal impaction rather than, or what caused, a prolapse.
No doubt things are not back to normal as of yet, thus the pain and chirp upon excretion.
