Hi everyone. =)
This is our 2nd year with ducks now. Each time we bought additional ducklings to add, we kept them indoors and went through the food stages, etc.
Now we have a broody girl and we have decided to let her try out motherhood. My question is, how will we handle feeding them with them mixed in with our other ducks. We are not going to be able to separate the mom from the flock because we have nowhere else to keep an adult duck besides the duck house and run.
Is mommy able to provide the extra nutrients they need while growing somehow?
Will it hurt the adults to eat the starter and grower food for a while again as the ducklings go through their nutritional stages? I'm not really sure how to tackle this.
Thank you in advance for any info.

Well, I don’t have ducks but I bet you could do something similar to what I do with my chickens. I don’t feed layer or grower or starter etc. I feed everybody grower. The checks get a couple weeks of starter but that’s it after that everybody eats grower. Or grower/starter.
