Thank you so much! These is amazing advice! Right when it hatches should i place it in the cage i am making it in my room? It will have food water and a heatlamp that ir can move out of...
If you have a small incubator you’ll have to move it fairly quickly because they are pretty tall at hatch. About 8”. You don’t want it getting hung up on any wires.

just putting this out there, maybe his egg hatched and the emu chick attacked.. dum dum DUM! no more posts or updates. making me worried about the death eggs I have incubating in my living room.

Ok thanks! So if your egg is losing weight it could still be un-fertile? That’s a let down! Haha! I hope that mine makes it to a chick! I got mine straight from a field full of about 25 emus and it was laid that day. I started the incubation that day! I have high hopes and will do anything to increase the odds
Did it hatch? Update please
