My kiddos have been home doing elearning and I’ve been looking at different ways for them to learn being that they are getting bored with it. I was thinking of incubating some of our eggs and use it as a way of teaching/learning. We have all of the necessary equipment. However I don’t know which breeds of our flock would be best to attempt. We have two roosters a Black Copper Maran and a Barred Rock. As far as hens we have a RIR, black sexlink, black australorp, leghorn, barred Cochin, and a buff Brahma (no feathered feet). Any thoughts or ideas would be very helpful!

From my nonexistent experience and what I've heard on BYC, really any breeds can be mixed. I did some googling and you can't make any sexlinks, so that's out of the running, but it could be fun to mix traits (feathered feet, comb types, etc) and see who hatches out with what. You could also do eggs from random hens where you don't know which roo and see what happens. Make sure you have plans for extra males.
