The pyrantel pamoate will cover for both roundworms and hookworms. The piperazine product you linked will only cover roundworms.

I know it says for dogs, but the active ingredient is the same.
Yes, kittens and puppies can be born already with roundworms. Not sure what your budget is, but the safest dewormer for that age is pyrantel. Same stuff human kids get for pinworms. Nemexx is a more popular brand name but there are a zillion names. You might already have some for some other animal? Pretty sure it’s fairly cheap, so might want to check be for next month. Avoid dewormer with the active ingredient piperazine! Very rough on the tummy and you won’t ever find a vet recommending that one.I'll be ordering a dewormer next month, since I can't afford it this month.
I'm just concerned about the dosage since this one meant for dogs. For example this - https://www.amazon.com/SENTRY-pyrantel-pamoate-Anthelmintic-Suspension/dp/B002UZDN98/

You ignore the dose on the bottle, just like you would ignore the dose on the bottle of Safeguard for goats when giving to chickens.I'm just concerned about the dosage since this one meant for dogs.
We can calculate a dosage for you, depending on the product you get.I'm just concerned about the dosage since this one meant for dogs.
I just calculated my money, & I have enough for the wormer. So apparently I haven’t been getting notifications ... I’ll just add some stuff, but I haven’t read all the comments so sorry if they are moot now or repeats or whatever.
The pic looks actually pretty normal to me!
Careful with triple antibiotic- okay to use but the problem is kitties licking it off. Rub in very well.
