Okay, makes sense. You ignore the dose on the bottle, just like you would ignore the dose on the bottle of Safeguard for goats when giving to chickens.

Thanks, she's turning 7 weeks old tomorrow.Actually cats can get fenbendazole, too (safeguard, panacur), but pretty sure they should be 8 weeks?
As for pyrantel, typicaldosing for cats and dogs is 1ml per 10lb (or 0.1ml per 1 lb) of 50mg/ml. Do it 1-2 days in a row repeat in 2 weeks and can do it again in 4 weeks. Can be given to cats and dogs as young as two weeks old. Veryvery wide safety margin. If roundworms are present, you might see them cone out the other end, just FYI!
So 11 mg per kg?As for pyrantel, typicaldosing for cats and dogs is 1ml per 10lb (or 0.1ml per 1 lb) of 50mg/ml.
Gaaahhh!!! Math so early! Yes, it would convert to 11mg per kg. I do remember my vet saying the otc stuff like nemexx was less concentrated. You just have to give a lot more volume. So 11 mg per kg?
Have you ever expressed an anal glan? Here's a picture. The swelling is reduced, I've been applying Triple Antibiotic ointment to it every now and then, because it's the only thing I thought of in this strange situation.

No, but I've seen how it's done.Have you ever expressed an anal glan?
She kitten shouldn't need it. I thought it was older cat!No, but I've seen how it's done.
She's been having normal poos after the big hard one the other day, so I don't believe that's her problem.
