Nevadans?

I just did a search on BYC and sounds like it's not a problem. I'm going to put a fan on the one in the shed coup because it's hotter in there then the place the other two are. Hope to take some eggs from the Polish girl today and give them to the new broody. Poor thing is flattened out like a pancake trying to cover them all.
Oh good. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a great hatch! You have such cute birds. I love mine that I got from you.

Meet Pot and Pie. Sour accepted them within a minute, even though they're just over a week old. They're mixed breed, not sure exactly what... the two daddies are a Jersey giant and a cochin, and I think the mom was part cochin. We chose two babies with the skinniest legs, but the lady we got them from said she would gladly take back any roosters.
They are cuter in person.

Tolipgirl I make popcorn for mine. They go nuts over it. I give them a few pieces at a time (avoiding kernals) and watch them chase each other around the pen. LOL I'd take pics but can't get them to load anyway.

I am so sorry, but which user was selling Cayuga and call ducks... This is also the person who said that their friend had some barred rock and red star pullets... My friend is very interested in the pullets and wanted to know how much they would cost!

While I'm waiting for the chicks from the three broodies to hatch (and worrying about them making it through this heat), thought I'd share some pictures of the last hatch. They're about 2 1/2 months old.
Here's four EE boys. Do you think the one in the second photo is a splash? BTW, if anyone's interested, they're for sale and listed on CL but if someone here is interested PM me.

Here's one of my Polish at about 2 months. I thought it was a pullet at birth but now I'm seeing some spikes but I can't decide. Funny, this chicken can free range but instead hangs outside the Polish pen...birds of a feather? That's one of my WCB boys in the back. He has an amazing crest!

Here's one of the black (with a few white feathers). I have two like this only one is all black. I guessed these two to be boys but now I'm thinking girls by the crest. Anyone have an opinion? This photo was taken yesterday so about 2 1/2 months.

I haven't shared a picture of my EE Roo in awhile. Here's Big Daddy!

I shared these on the California - Northern so if anyone goes over there, sorry for the double posts...but nobody said anything about them over there.....

SunnyDawn: Is your Penedesenca laying yet? If yes, how is the egg color? What type is it? It's on my wishlist so I gotta know!
Nope not laying yet. Sorry. :/

Beautiful! I wish I knew how to sex polish easily. I still have a couple I'm not sure about.
