and don't plan on her going broody, i would plan on incubating it after about a week of collecting whatever else she lays....
i have 7 hens that have been laying age since sept-nov of last year, and only one of them has gone broody... if i had waited for that i wouldn't have any of my other chicks...
i don't know how broody serams as a breed are, but i don't think it happens often??
