Nevadans?

Sunny & Genny:

Here is a couple of photos of the tree on my family's property in Tickfaw, LA. This is a live oak tree estimated to be over 300 yrs old. The second picture you can see a 6 ft picnic table below it for an idea of scale. This tree has ferns growing on the limbs and limbs that actually drop and go into the ground and up several feet away.

Gitlost – I saw you were on Jody’s list, she has phenomenal birds. You will really love them – and then want all the colors of orps.

Daegorn – thank you - we will have to work on getting you pullets/chicks or eggs.

Yeah, Im really excited. Wish I could get em sooner than may, but Im just glad to be getting some. Cochins are my favorite, but untill they have Lavender ones, Orpintons will do just fine

Except for all the moss, that is. Thank you so much for posting a pic of it. It was impossible to visualize it's scale from your verbal description.

Git lost those orps are going to be soooo pretty! I love my blue orp crosses from Genny. I'd love to have lavenders!

That is a great tree!!! I dont think we have any like that up here lol

I got my BYC Store stuff in the mail today! A calendar and a few bumper stickers! I probably have the only car that says "My Pet Makes Me Breakfast" on the back

Enjoy your BYC stuff! I have a couple of BYC coffee cups that say the same thing. I love them!

My week has been great so far. How about yours?

See - now you will need some black cochins - cross them with the lav orps and YOU breed a lav cochin - takes a couple years, lots of culling and time/space for growing out - but what fun
