thanks! it's so fun. We may move the brooder into the garage in a week or two depending on the daytime highs in the garage. I have an expansion bin ready to add on to this one probably in a few days so they have more room. Thought I'd keep them in closer quarters for the first few days. The coop should be done in a month (don't laugh! it really could be!). We'll have to see what the temps are and when to move them out there. We could have a lamp out in the coop for awhile with all the safety precautions taken, of course!

Elizabeht, those are so cute!!!! I love how the wyandotte babies look. And they grow up to be Raider fans!! You gotta love them.

Ug, does anyone else get Zucchini and Cucumbers mixed up? Idk why I do, its just one of those lame-o things I do.

Now I have a wonderful batch of Cucumber Banana nut bread. Imagine when my mom comes home. "No Ma, I didnt mix them up, I was being innovative."

Elizabeth your chicks are adorable! Congratulations! FYI you're way ahead of where I was in my coop building when I first got chicks. I barely got mine finished in time for them to start laying.
