Nevadans?

I'd love to have patch and the splash in the second picture. And if Seth wants any, I can be the dropoff point for him, then he can come get them from me.

Seth, how old are your showgirls? I know your ameraucanas are 12 weeks. And yes, I put in a bid for the eggs:
3 Easter Egger
3 Frizzle Cochins
3 Lavender Orpington
1 Lavender Ameraucana
2 BBS Cochins

So if they arrive and my hen has broken her broodiness, these eggs might need a home. Or I might have chicks that might need a home, if you're fine with my yard history. I would be having a hen hatch them, not an incubator.

edit: My email says the eggs have already shipped. If my broody breaks by the time I get these, does anyone want them? I won't ask to be reimbursed, since I'm the one who took the gamble on them. But if I still have a broody, then they're SOOO going under her! This hatching thing is too addictive.

Do you have pics of the oldest group?

Ok, I was looking at my oldest group. It was a bad hatch because I had gotten a new hygrometer for my incubator and it was a bad hygrometer. It is gone now but some of the eggs did hatch and it consisted largely of cockerels. I have two pullets from that hatch. One is black and the other one is not for sale... sorry.

I'll have to go out and see if I can get pictures of the next hatch.

Can you tell me what you're looking for... yard art, eye candy? Do you plan on showing her?

Someone asked for pricing so, here goes...

These prices are for...

Yard Art quality birds. Breeder quality
Oops! We are not allowed to post prices for anything we have for sale in individual threads here on BYC. You'll need to edit your post, and Seth, you will need to edit your post where you quoted those prices. We have a lot of breeders on this thread and others who would be quoting prices all day if it were allowed. Including me.

However you can post them in the "For Sale" area and then you can post a link to that post here. You can also, I believe, say what you have available then pm folks that express an interest. If I am wrong on this someone can let me know but I do know we are forbidden to list any prices. The rest of it we may be taking libeties on.

well i would need an pullets that are old enought to go striaght out into the coop iwould say one SQ(if u can) and a splash for i candy. It looks like i'll have to wait awhile and that is fine.

seth if it looks like a roo it is most likely a roo :/ show me pics and I can tell you for certain. a have found that the showgirls make buck bawk sounds even if they are boys.

Missy if my broodies are still going strong i will let them egg sit for you. Ive given my two remaining broodies 7 new types of eggs to see which are fertile. Unfotunately my EE has stopped laying for now so im unable to try hers again :/

Does anyone knw if it is possible for an OE to lay marans colored eggs? I have a bird laying the same color as my marans but it is pullet sized. I could have very well been wrong about the grey eggs...oh sheesh ill never be able to type out this thought and have it be coherent...ANY TIPS ON THE FOOD COLORING VENT? I need to know who is doing what LOL.

Uh... hold them upside down and drip food coloring into their uh... yeah. And make sure it's not red? That's just me guessing, before I actually look it up and know what I'm talking about.
