Nevadans?

OMG Julie, I'm not sure what the funniest part about bringing home that Roo was. I was absolutely right about Ty falling for him, he named him Jethro almost instantly. Not sure why... so I'm pretending it's an NCIS reference. He spent his first night sleeping in our room on top the gun case!!!. The 5 new chicks I got were in there too in the dog crate, well every time the started cheeping loudly he'd fly down and go over to them making cute little comforting noises, and they'd be quite for a while. Th next day I put him in the dog kennel so he could be outside with some yard space. Well needless to say my other adult roo is only 7/8 months old, and he had to come challenge Jethro right away, it was so so funny. They're almost the same size and after one look at Jethro with his feathers up and jumping at the cage and my poor little roo ran for the hills. My leghorn girls have never much cared for our other roos anyway, but they think Jethro is the hottest thing in town. They're already squatting for him, and its like a light turned on for my other little roo. Now he's trying to mount the girls too. Only to be shot down at very turn.
Aww that is great!! HAHA!!! Jethro is a great NAME!!

I ended up bringing home 10 roosters from the swap

.....3 BCMs(and a blue one too) a very sweet blue(and a black one too) Americauna, Lavendar Orp, black Frizzle, 2 rough yard roos mutts....the young ones are getting along fine but one of the mutts was mean and out for blood so he is living outside the run. Anyway if anyone needs a sweet blue Americauana, frizzle or BCMs let me know(I know wishful thinking! ) well most will go to my friend in California to be sold by next weekend.... I have Call Ducks for sale and a trio of Very BIG Cayugas (out of good show stock)for sale too!

Well, all is happy in our flock, the houdan roo figured out that the rock hen wasn't a rooster and we brought him some other new ladies and all are happy
