Hi! I am so excited to start my flock this spring! I've been scouring BYC for tips on building my coop and preparing for my little babies to arrive in the mail. I am getting 8 birds and choosing breeds was so hard. I wish I had room for more. I'll be getting a Barred Rock, an Easter Egger, a silky Easter Egger, a Blue Cochin, a Speckled Sussex, a Light Brahma, a Buff Chantecler, and a Buckeye.
I am a website designer and I have been working on a passion project - a sustainability website that could be a one-stop-shop for resources related to sustainability. As chicken lovers, many of you are also quite invested in building a life for yourself and your family that is sustainable and doesn't draw more resources from the environment than you need.
