New duckling! Help?

cute setup! I'm thinking it may just take some time for them to get used to each other, then they "may" be ok. looks like there are some escape spots. If not, could you add just one wall of chicken wire across the middle of the run? Without predators, the ducks don't even need a coop per se. Mine hang out in their pool or just roam around all night. They don't sleep all night like chickens do.

I was thinking the same thing. I can’t remember how cold it gets at night there?

Ok....so I'm worrying over nothing that my ducks are night owls and don't sleep but what seems like only in the wee hours of the morning from 3to5 am?!? I guess they sleep all day while I'm at work though....

@WVduckchick @CayugaJana We'll probably see how it goes first before separating them. I mean, if Sunni is a boy, which I'm pretty sure it is, they have Billy. So hopefully they will leave the chickens alone. Also the weather depends on the year honestly... usually it gets into the 40s-50s at night in the winter

I am thinking that the pick no more is more for when there is visible blood marks but could be wrong.....I do believe that Sunni just young and is trying to find out where she or he stands in this thing called life. Kinda like awkward young tweens.....you know. Give him/her the time and space to figure this out. Just know when things cross the line, you must step in.
I just had to put my drake in his place today.....twice because he kept picking on the hen and once for coming at me while giving him treats......I know that he is just trying to protect his hen, but he needs to know that i’m In charge.....not him!
