Well @wa2qcj we're so glad you've introduced yourself either way!

It's awesome you've been around so long already. It's nice to see another person who understands the intelligence of chickens and doesn't underestimate them. I've heard alot of folks call them brainless and that animals can't remember things. The ducks and chickens we've raised were quite the opposite.

The name Booster the rooster is hilarious! A fitting name for him. You have a big flock now- from 6 to 60 in 6 years! That's a riddle! So sorry for your losses over that time.

Hopefully you can get a great plan in line for your retirement involving your flock, whether it be selling adult birds or eggs or chicks. Or all of the above! Have you thought on what you'd like to do yet?
