Announcement New "Original Poster" OP On Avatar (like Thread Starter)

I know we have used the term Thread Starter, but we also refer to OP (Original Poster) quite often. Would OP be more recognizable?

Which to use is a tossup...
'Thread Starter' is/was commonly understood here before the change.
'Original Poster' is probably more common across the net.

It is an indicator for who started the thread. If you scroll up you will see TS on Nifty's avatar, this is because he started this thread.

This designation is so welcome! I loved the new BYC from the first day, but sorely missed being able to easily determine who was the original poster when joining a thread discussion. I completely agree that "OP" for original poster should be the designating initials because when most of us refer to this person who began the thread, we use "OP" to refer to them. I've been using those initials for years. But I can live with "TS".

The more I see it and think about it...I agree that 'OP' would be more easily understood by all.
