Thanks!
The color is "Cherry Cobbler" #S-G-140 by Behr...it is such a "happy" color that I am considering painting my kitchen the same color.

Did you have the coop shipped to you or did they deliver that far? Looks like the nest boxes could get pretty hot in the summertime. Do you have any predators in the area that have tested the durability of the coop? Not sure how well pvc pipe will hold up to the weather or how well it will hold the fasteners. I would be concerned about coons pulling the fasteners loose. It looks good but a little leary of the security of the coop. I wonder how it would hold up to a large dog?

juliect,
Glad to see another "Little Women" fan- I want to name my girls (when I finally get them) after some of the sisters in my favorite books, too! If you get a rooster, would he be Laurie or Friederich or Mr. Brooks?
And I LOVE your coop and run
Beth

How does it hold up in snow? I have been looking at many pics of the construction and it looks sturdy enough, I want to build something similar...

juliect,

I'm just up the road from you in west Knox county. Read your thread here on the Stagecoach Chicken Tractor and really like the looks and overall style of the build. I've been seriously considering a chicken tractor as my first coop to start out with a few hens. One can always use a chicken tractor even if you build a permanent coop down the road. Tractor could be used as an isolation coop, timeout coop, etc. But I'm planning on building my own since I like building stuff and always look forward to a new challenge.

Wondering how tall is your chicken tractor? From pics looks like it might be around 5'.

How many hens do you keep in yours?

Ron
