Oh cool! I wasn't sure if they would until they got older. The kids had alotta fun searching for the right stick and figuring out how to make a safe “stand” for it. They found the to small pair of crocks which I scrubbed up and it worked like a charm. They will be delighted to see them use it.Your chicks will love the roost. They'll play on it during the day, but probably won't sleep on it for the first two to three weeks.

and all of them thus far are alive and well! So far I am certain we have 2 roos and several others I am eyeing every day looking for pink. The only request I made was for the selection to lean more towards the darker eggs. I believe I have one for sure BCM for sure Roo, 4 or 5 Moss Eggers, and some Welsummers, one Amerucana, and the rest I just am not sure yet.
