New Year Block swap

Rusty hen, I do like the quilt you are working on. Looks very difficult but worth doing. It's going to be stunning when it's finished. Is it for you or do you have to give it away?

Rosie, have patience . You know how long it takes for our blocks to reach Kat. Anything from 2 to 4 weeks.

Here is the quilt I have been working on and the reason I asked about the 60% ruler slipping. I just have these up on the design wall so I can make sure that the next jelly roll colors and patterns are not the same. @quailtrail Buff Orp, are nice birds, is she good size? Yes! tell those little blocks to fly, fly, fly.
love it!!!! She the smallest. The others are EE/OE. They are bigger, red combs, & older. Hopefully they are right behind her.

Thank You All for the kind words on this quilt. I love the grandmothers garden quilts, but I just knew that I would never get one done.
Sew I tried this one, it is just for me, I decided that because it is a struggle at times, especially when I want to line up the striped fabric better to make a block, and I can't because this is 2 jelly rolls and I would have go buy more fabric.

@RustHen beautiful

@quailtrail I tried to save my first egg by blowing it, didn't make the hole big enough and the shell was not weak but not strong so I ended up breaking it

Buffs are pretty birds I have some and I mixed them with RIR's and they are really big beautiful birds, that lay nicely, the roos are really big and are good sellers.

Heard on the 4th and all are in the mail!!!! as of tomorrow!!! now to see which blocks do the breast stroke the fastest and how fast the others can run. The race is on!!!

@Rusthen That is gorgeous!
@Quailtrail That is great! I have a Buff, Gold Dust, she is a sweetie! Hoping to pick up two more about her age. Wish I would have saved my first egg! Sure was good though!! :)

Cool, does that mean no one dropped out? If so it is the first swap I have ever participated in where no one has dropped out.
