Newbie here... Can someone help me to determine the gender of my RIR?

Hey all,

Raised these 2 from chicks.. born around May 10.

The smaller one is a partridge rock. Definite female.

The larger one is a RIR. At first I thought it was a male..then I thought it was a female... now I'm scared that I was right the first time...

this is my entire flock, and I hope I dont have to separate them... In my urban area a rooster wouldnt please my neighbors too much.

Welcome to BYC! I'm sorry to say that your RIR is a rooster. But before you get rid of him I'd get more chicks or chickens so your pullet won't be lonely.

The RIR facing forward with the smaller comb is a hen. The one behind her is 100% rooster.

I is a rooster the other is a pullet.It has the comb AND the feathering.

Both are possibly roosters though.The one may be yoounger and slowly to mature.

I figured as much, but was hoping to hear different from the experts here...

Oh well. Now I have some things to figure out.
