Hello, I am new here and have learned a lot in a month or so. I designed and finished my coop in the span of a few weeks, it turned out well, chalet style, 6X4 with a run beneath. planned on a flock of 4, buff orphington were my first choice but found some 5 month old showquality birds and picked em up last night. Ended up with 2 gold laced wyandottes, 1 silver, 1 blue laced ~(both 2 mos younger) and 2 black cochins. So far they all get along pretty well. Started out with a 5 gal bucket waterer and a mason jar feeder. Cute and friendly birds. We also have 3 cats and 2 dogs so far no problems, hopefully expecting eggs by oct - nov. Everyones pictures, advice and coop designs have been really helpful...THANKS
