A "non bearded D'Uccle" is actually considered a different breed, called a Booted Bantam or a Sabelpoot!

Your chicks look entirely smooth faced, you can see the beards when they are chicks. I can outline on that photo to show if you'd like : D Feedstores aren't reliable on identifying breeds (or sexes) and Hatcheries also can mix things up

yes I would like that thank you :) here’s more pics of them. They are defently porcelin d uccles they look a lot like the other 3 week porcelin d uccle babies I looked up

I was about to trace over the photos but I checked feathersite and they had some good examples!

Sabelpoot - https://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGP/Sabel/SablepootChik1Wk.JPEG

D'Uccle - https://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGK/Millies/GoldenNeckD'UccleBtyChix.JPEG & https://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGK/Millies/BlueMFChix.JPEG

See how even in the second D'Uccle photo, even though their beards are smaller the still got them? I've raised D'Uccle and Booteds and honestly it CAN be hard to tell them apart but I'd bet yours are Booteds, make sure to update when they're older : D

Thanks so much I will love them anyway and yes I’ll defently update you on them 💕

but I’m glad they’re still small and porcelin ❤️💕
