No Crow roo collar?

I don't believe in those roo collars, or for that matter, de-barking dogs or non-bark collars, and declawing of cats, either. It's a natural behavior in a rooster. If you aren't allowed to have a rooster, don't have a rooster. Roosters crow. Dogs bark. Cats need their claws. The bird will suffer, your neighbors will suffer, and you will get in trouble. Don't do it.

He can still crow, Just not as loud. The neighbours are understanding, It doesn't affect any other vocal abilities and he seems fine. His behaviour hasn't changed at all since i started using that collar. Plus my neighbour hood has to deal with this annoying dog anyway and the rooster is quieter. He's inside at night so thats fine.

If my neighbours can keep their annoyingly loud dog i shoupd be able to keep my quiter rooster. Anyway i would much rather have him alive and happy instead of dead, And im sure thats what he would want too.

My rooster crows a few times at 8:30 am then doesn't crow again until the next 8:30 am lol. He crows such a small amount I ended up not making him wear the collar
I didnt see it as cruel when he was wearing it because when I put it on he didn't even care about it, I was expecting him to hate it but he acted totally normal. Different roosters may act differently though

THIS is the reason that backyard owners get a bad name !!!

Seriously ???!!! You KNOW it is BANNED, yet you are going to do it anyway?
I bet when you get caught you will be the one crying over it all but you will have no one to blame but yourself !

You CAN"T STOP A ROO FROM CROWING !!!!!!!!!!! IT WILL STILL CROW

What is the point to having a roo anyway ???
True. If they are banned then don't go getting ALL chickens banned! I love my roo because he looks after his girls. He's always willing to tell the dog where to go and watching the skies. I saw him send them scuttling for cover when he saw an airplane the first time, lol. Plus I never have to search out hatching eggs - I just have to make sure I grab mine quick!
