It just struck me as odd... my personal favorites though are the “apple purchase receipts” that I get with the slightly broken English thanking me for my purchase and asking me to confirm my CC info! I’m not horribly computer inclined, and wasn’t sure if it was a system error or phishing of some sort!

Too many odd email scams. I check all my credit card account balances frequently. I've had more than one occasion where one of my cards had bogus charges on it. The last time it was over $500. Such a pain. I got my money back but it makes you feel violated.

The only times I’ve had an issue was a Paypal security breech, which was noticed right away by PayPal... no I’m not trying to send money to some random guy... and my Husbands card got comprised while we were on vacation in Georgia... also noticed right away by my CC company that shut the card down when we “tried to buy several appliances online in another county” lol we’ve been pretty lucky so far.
