Nora's First Egg!! Calling Seminole Wind Esp., Check it Out!

Could be getting Delaware eggs soon, too. I moved Jake and his ladies into a new, larger coop adjacent to Suede's and for the first time ever, both Delaware ladies, and the Blue Orp girls that are still with him, were checking out the nests. Jake even got into one and was cooing his heart out, LOL. They are 21 weeks old now.

What a beautiful mix of eggs. They'd be pretty just sitting around in a basket for decoration. My grandmother taught me many moons ago how to "blow out" the innards of an egg while keeping the shell intact. You should try that.

The only time we blew out an egg was when we thought we might have an egg eater. DH hollowed out one and put hot pepper juice inside. Thank goodness no one touched it, so we were mistaken, but we now know how to do it! I agree, eggs are so beautiful.

SpeckledHen, why are you taunting me? (BIG LOL) Those eggs are lovely. Now all you need for Nora (and Snow) is a nice handsome rooster, and a box and bubble wrap for the eggs you'll be sending ME!!!

I am really impressed with how blue Nora's eggs are. Now, if Miss Snow would grace me with hers, I'll be a happy camper.

And, Karen, when and if I ever acquire another Ameraucana rooster, you'll be the first one I tell.
