Hello! I bought pullet assorted bantams, so I don’t know breeds. Three of them have huge combs! While some have small combs. Is this normal? Also if anyone would like to tell me the breeds I’d love to know!

We got them from tractor supply, I want to say they are about two months old. You think they are Roos then? I was hoping they were just hens with rose combs.

If they are only 2 months old... and have such bright red combs... then they are male.

So sorry, because they are pretty looking.

But maybe you misremember their ages? I don't see any male feathers on them... could they be 6 months old?

(but there are a couple of bantam breeds where the males are hen feathered .... and don't get male feathers)

We got them around March 10th and they were just a week old. So the oldest they could be is 3 1/2months old. The store told me they were sexed with 90% accuracy.

These pictures were taken April 2nd this year. I guess they are probably Roos then
