@BelovedBirds how are your girls doing? Has she laid again since Monday? Continued thoughts and prayers for you and your girls

I'm not able to be certain, as I've only gotten an occasional single egg so don't know who's laid what and when... But I'm happy to report no laying issues since then!

She is back to laying an egg per day consistently, but no issues, each egg is perfect and she's doing good

She's not doing well
My mum called me saying Sprightly was acting off, I race out to her and she's stood in typical egg trouble posture but her eyes are just... soulless... tired... drained... half shut, her breath was fast and wheezing

I check her vent immediately and it's swollen and wide open with egg whites oozing out
I wasn't sure what to do, but braved it and felt inside her vent for the membrane, cautiously checking for broken shell
I couldn't feel anything
I waited with her a few minutes, gave her calcium, before carrying her carefully inside, her body is so weak
I was about to put her into a warm bath when the yolk and membrane fell out of her... all down my clothes but that's besides the point.

Her vent looked good so I placed her in the bath and she has remained unmoving, eyes half shut, body stiff and weak.

This isn't how she normally behaves after laying, I'm really worried

What do I do now? She looks like she's in pain and she's very occasionally pooping white thick fluid
I feel sick with worry

No not really
I'm worried there's another egg inside her. She's acting as if she does...
She's had a full dose of calcium, she's having a warm soak and she's had a few sips of the water
Is there anything else I can do to make her comfortable

Yes, 24/7 available, no issues with my other girl either, just Sprightly
