Around here, there is a lot of snow left on the branches add more snow and then ice to that---we are in for wide spread power outages. Not fun!

I just checked my weather guys page....so Northern Il. is expected to get anywhere from 8-20 inches, 2-3 inches falling per hour, depending on how the fronts develop...

Suppose that means I need to go grocery shoppin for a few items.


I enjoy teasing my weather guy when he sets up his blog page during storms like this...I like to keep it lively. Last time I did an experiment and he mentioned me and my experiment on the news report. I asked him how long it would take to make a soda slushy and he told me he didn't know and to go try it...so I did and gave him updates.

Well it snowed for a bit and then stopped. Oh fun!

Started snowing here right around 10:00 p.m. I heard that Harrisburg, PA had sleet around 9:00. So the fun has begun! They updated our forcast: 4-10" of snow and then a 1/2" or more of ice on top of that. I really do need that Calgon soaking I think.

Too bad I need to go fill the tub now for toilet flushing!

Buugette - I grew up in Bucks County. What part are you in? I was in Upper Bucks. Grew up in Hilltown.
