Hey there, I just bought a new breeding set of bearded buff polish chickens. A cock and 3 hens. Each one of the hens have a different age. Anywhere from 5 months all the way to 2 years. How long till they start laying again ?

Yes, a couple days to a couple weeks ....to maybe longer for the older ones depending on your location.

It's possible you might get an egg the day after you bring them home, which would be an egg already in process before they were moved.

i live in bahrain. It’s a tiny island near Saudi Arabia. Climate here is fairly warm from 30-40 degrees c. In the winters it stays under 20 C. In the summers it’s above 50 C
