Not Sure if You've Got a Pullet or a Cockerel? Click here! thread 3

Pics
At first, we thought, this was a pullet. It's a cross of SLW roo and red(orange) EE.
It just felt like one and the comb was yellow until now.
Now, at 7 weeks, the comb started to get a little pink in it and, as you can see on the 1st picture, the sides under wings are not feathered completely.
Also, what do you think about its tail?
Do you think it's a pullet or cockerel?
Thank you very much!

The red that is starting to develop through the wing is male specific.

Is any red in the wings sign of the cockerel? Does it have to be on specific parts of the wings or anywhere? Is it true for any breed or just for EE? Also, what do you think of its tail?
Thank you!

Roosters, regardless of breed, generally develop a specific shade of deep red through the wing/shoulder area. Just take a look at pictures of different breed roosters. One thing that is pretty consistent is the rooster red wing/shoulder patches. The exception would be roosters that are pure for silver, and have no Mahogany gene. At 7 weeks old, he is too young for male specific feathering.

This chick is almost 7 weeks old.
It has rose comb.

Looks like a pullet for now, though if the wattles get much redder soon, I'd change my guess to cockerel. Rose combed birds can be hard to determine gender on until they're older.

These 2 birds have the same parents.
Hen is red EE.
They are both splash as the roo was blue. One of them has red feathers on the wings. another doesn't.
Does it mean that the bird on the left is a roo and the bird on the right is a hen?
Thank you!

This is a side view of the red patches.
